The shower in the cottage was absolutely amazing, providing a refreshing experience after a long day exploring. the location of the cottage was superb, situated on the canal bank, offering a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Being within easy reach of the town center was a great advantage, allowing us to easily explore the attractions and amenities.
There were a couple of negatives that impacted our stay. the bed was uncomfortable and creaky, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

We had an incredible stay at a stunning cottage. The decor was beautiful and everything was spotlessly clean. The cottage had all the necessary appliances, with helpful instructions provided. The location was perfect, close to Inverness but in a peaceful area with a breathtaking view of the Caledonian Canal. The owner even left us a breakfast pack, which was a lovely touch. We couldn't fault anything about our stay, it was truly exceptional.

The location and views were incredible, with beautiful scenery and easy access to local walks. the cottage was spotlessly clean and had a homely feel, with thoughtful touches like dog biscuits and breakfast items provided. the host went above and beyond, even leaving instructions for the appliances, which was very helpful. a wonderful experience.
That the outdoor area wasn't secure, which meant we had to keep our dogs on leads. the parking area had some dog poop left by irresponsible dog walkers.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming cottage by the river. The views were absolutely stunning, and our dog had a blast playing in the water right outside the door. The cottage was clean and well-presented, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Despite being near the train tracks, we hardly noticed any noise from the trains, and they didn't disturb our sleep at all. The location was also great, with plenty of locals walking their dogs, creating a friendly atmosphere. we had a lovely break and would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at Otter Cottage! The beautifully decorated cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The stunning view of the riverside added to the peaceful ambiance of the location. It was a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as the early morning train whistle and the narrow road leading to the cottage, our overall experience was wonderful. We loved being able to take walks along the canal and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. I highly recommend Otter Cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

My stay at Otter Cottage was absolutely incredible! The cottage itself was beautifully presented and clean, with stunning views of the surrounding area. I loved that I could step out the door and be right by the water, perfect for my dog who enjoyed playing with other dogs and watching people. The cottage is also conveniently located near a pub, which was a great bonus. Despite the train line behind the cottage, I barely noticed any noise as the trains were infrequent, and there were none overnight. this was one of the best travel experiences of my life!
I want to mention one small drawback, which was the uncomfortable and creaky bed. However, this didn't significantly affect my overall enjoyment of the cottage.
